GRA invited to present at Supply Chain Conference - Sydney 2008

Melbourne, 1 April 2008

GRA partner, Carter McNabb, has been invited by the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA) to speak at the Supply Chain Conference - Sydney 2008.

The presentation, Stock Exchange: How a publicly listed company optimised its inventory and increased its share price, will highlight the relationship between effective inventory management and the positive outcomes this can have on a company’s overall performance. It will show how this organisation’s focus on working capital enabled it to reduce inventories by 12% within 12 months. This in turn increased operating cash flow by $12 million, whilst sales and EBIT margins continued to improve despite difficult trading conditions. The company’s share price tripled within 12 months and importantly, the improvement in working capital enabled expansion to be funded from operating cash flow rather than debt.

This year’s Supply Chain Conference is being held on the 15th and 16th of April during Matex 08 at the Sydney Showgrounds, Sydney Olympic Park. Carter will be presenting at 4pm on Day 1.
