GAINS recognised as a leading solution by Gartner and Frost & Sullivan
…and praised by Lora Cecere

GRA works with many supply chain solution providers to optimise their clients’ supply chains. One of the systems GRA works closely with is GAINS from GAINSystems in the US.

In the last couple of months GAINS has repeatedly been recognised as an industry leader:

Gartner, a leading research and advisory firm, named GAINS as a leading solution in their Magic Quadrant for Supply Chain Planning (SCP) System of Record (SOR).

According to Gartner, “This Magic Quadrant examines vendors that provide SCP system-of-record solutions. Supply chain and IT leaders can use this research when evaluating and selecting a supply chain planning system to underpin their journey to Stage 3 supply chain planning maturity and beyond.”

Frost & Sullivan, market research analysts, recently published research for Supply Chain Planning for the MRO Industry, and awarded GAINS with the Product Leadership Award. Find out more about the award here.

Lora Cecere, aka The Supply Chain Shaman, recorded her day spent with 120 Supply Chain leaders at a recent GAINSystems event where they explored the reasons why organisations are not making more progress on Inventory Management.

Lora's article explores the five reasons for lack of progress including: holistic thinking, planning system satisfaction, over-dependence on spreadsheets, rise in complexity and organisational alignment.

In her article Lora writes:

"I am proud of GAINSystems for their work on master data management and machine learning. I started covering GAINS in 2001 as an analyst at Gartner. Today, the small company is innovating faster than larger competitors. Focused and caring, the company is making progress. While there are more sophisticated architectures and larger, more global organisations, GAINS is a great value for companies seeking to test new concepts at a reasonable price."

GRA Partner, Carter McNabb said:

“For more than two decades GRA has implemented and maintained GAINS in organisations across multiple industries in the commercial and government sectors. We believe GAINS to be the superior best-of-breed inventory optimisation tool in the market, and we are pleased that Gartner, as an independent research organisation, has also recognised the tool’s strengths and capabilities. Furthermore, we congratulate GAINSystems on the Frost & Sullivan award, positioning GAINS above all other APS solutions.”
