GRA has had a proud, 20 (plus) years' association with the Australian Defence Forces (ADF). In 2017 The Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) implemented changes to the previous DMOSS Panel resulting in the creation of the Defence Support Services (DSS) Panel. The panel is designed to assist CASG in acquiring professional services from Australian industry. Critically, the panel recognises the importance of small to medium-sized Australian enterprises that have advanced skills which can assist CASG in managing complex procurement and sustainment activities impacting on ADF capabilities.
CASG has recently advised GRA that we were successful in meeting the terms of the DSS panel across twenty specific skills sets. These skills cover the broad spectrum of sustainment, supply chain and procurement. GRA is proud to be acknowledged as being a valuable contributor to CASG assisting with the defence of Australia’s national interests. Significantly GRA has been recognised across all levels ranging from Associate Entry, Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, Expert and Pre-eminent Advisor. The breadth and depth of this recognition will mean that GRA can assist CASG and the wider ADF across the full spectrum of the capability life cycle.
In 2017 GRA recognised that a significant amount of expertise garnered through our Defence relationship resonated with other Government Departments. Consequently, GRA opened a Canberra Office focused on providing Service and Sustainment Chain/Change Management support using product and service orientated solutions to assist with complex issues. Positioning GRA on the DSS Panel will assist other Government Departments and Agencies to access our significant capabilities.
After such a long relationship with the ADF, GRA is delighted to have our extensive skills and expertise affirmed by being included on the DSS Panel. Of significance is the confirmation by CASG of our status as ‘experts in Supply Chain’ with recognition at the Pre-eminent Advisor level. This acknowledgement demonstrates our competitive advantage and we stand by for CASG and the wider ADF to leverage this advantage.
Gaining recognition across a large range of skill sets requires a team effort and the work done by GRA's Business Development Manager, Melanie DiIorio, to corral and energise the team deserves to be mentioned.
